if you cannot find an answer to your question.

I have been a professional writer for over 20 years, with experience in a variety of industries and writing styles. I have published self-help books, corporate manuals, and even crafted a line of adult coloring books...But my recent discovered passion is now fiction!

Outside the self-help books I have written under a different name, my fiction pieces tend to focus on love and the challenges that often get in the way of experiencing that love - whether those barriers be other people, external situations, or internal conflict.

I’m a history buff who loves exploring people’s backgrounds and the challenges they’ve faced. True stories often make the most compelling tales, but sometimes they need a little creative adjustment—shifting them into the realm of fiction. For me, the perfect balance lies in blending fact with imagination. Also, I enjoy playing with AI to help ideas come to life.  Creating the characters, locations, and backgrounds are fun to see come alive using the latest technology.

Of course. Each envisioned character carries a touch of someone real, providing a strong foundation to build upon. That said, a few of my characters have been created purely from an idea or concept...which is always fun to develop.

I don’t outline. Sometimes I know the ending before I begin, but more often I embrace the organic process of writing and let the story reveal itself along the way—much like life. We can plan, but as we all know, plans often take unexpected turns.

My first book features LGBTQ+ main characters, but my next one will not. I truly enjoy writing for the LGBTQ+ community, yet when I begin a story, I don’t set out to focus on a character’s sexual orientation. Instead, I let the character unfold naturally and reveal who they are—whether he, she, or they.

Who doesn’t love a happy ending—especially in LGBTQ+ stories? Too often, characters in this community are portrayed as victims, comic relief, or even villains, and we can all think of specific examples. I believe it’s time for that narrative to change. The LGBTQ+ community deserves stories where we get happy endings too.

Of course. I value community engagement and enjoy learning about others. I never want to “preach”—instead, I prefer genuine conversations and always welcome the opportunity to connect, whenever time allows.
